GET Neem is a natural oil which works extremely well as an insect deterrent when applied as a foilar spray.

Once applied to your plants it provides instant protection whilst giving a natural shine. Neem oil is derived from the Azadirachta Indica tree, which grows in Asia and Africa. The Azadirachta Indica or Neem tree is an extremely hardy tree that has many characteristics that bugs don’t like.

Neem oil is extracted from the seeds of the tree producing a very powerful bug deterrent that is harmless to plants. Be careful not to apply to heavily as you may plug up the stomata in leaves which transpire water, carbon dioxide and oxygen.

Neem comprises of 40 different active compounds called Tetranortriperpernoids, or more specifically liminoids. These liminoids create hormonal disruptions and prevents the insect from Feeding, Breeding or Metamorphosing. The Azadirachtin does not work on the digestive or nervous system, it acts on the hormonal system of the insect pests and thus does not lead to development of resistance in future generations.

In cooler conditions the bottle should be submersed in warm water to soften the Neem oil inside, as it tends to solidify when not in use at room temperatures.

Will also work systemically in the soil when applied as a soil drench.
